Conditions of Service

Terms & Conditions of Service: 

By requesting and utilizing services from EcoLiving Cleaners/EcoLiving, Inc., indicates an agreement between by you, the Customer, to be bound by terms and conditions set forth below: 

Damaged Property

EcoLiving Cleaners exercises reasonable care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual garment. EcoLiving Cleaners accepts no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items without care instructions and accepts no liability for items treated in accordance with the care labels or other instructions provided orally by the Customer or on the online order request form. EcoLiving Cleaners accepts no liability for "special care" items that require special attention to be cleaned or that do not have care instructions. EcoLiving Cleaners cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. EcoLiving Cleaners does not guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. In addition, EcoLiving Cleaners does not guarantee against garments with lace, beads, glitter, rhinestones or decorative accessories and such garments that contains these items should not be included in your order for laundry nor dry cleaning. EcoLiving Cleaners reserves the right to refuse cleaning any garment. EcoLiving Cleaners does not guarantee removal of all stains. EcoLiving Cleaners will re-clean garments that were not properly cleaned and not yet worn since they have been cleaned. However, the Customer must notify EcoLiving Cleaners within 3 days after delivery of any dissatisfaction with respect to the cleaning of their garments. EcoLiving Cleaners is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money, jewelry, or anything else non washable in the laundry bags. Customer agrees not to leave such items in its clothing or in the delivery bags. Customer must notify EcoLiving Cleaners within 7 days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitute waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery.

EcoLiving Cleaners liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed ten (10) times the charge for cleaning (i.e. laundry weight of that item and dry cleaning item charge) of that garment regardless of brand or condition. EcoLiving Cleaners will not be held liable nor be responsible for any consequential, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive loss or damages whether or not EcoLiving Cleaners had knowledge of or should have known of the likelihood of any loss or damages. EcoLiving Cleaners disclaims all warranties express or implied with respect to the services rendered under this agreement.

Use of Service

By utilizing our laundry and dry cleaning service(s), you agree to separate / sort laundered items from dry clean only items and mark such dry clean only items in a separate MARKED bag for easily identification. Customers’ agree to include only washable items in the laundry bag. EcoLiving Cleaners assumes no liability for negligence on the Customers’ behalf for including dry clean only garments in their laundry cleaning orders. Customers’ agree to check garments prior to including them in the laundry bags to ensure that such items do not contain any objects that are sharp, hazardous or can cause damage to EcoLiving’s equipment or garments during cleaning and processing. The Customer is responsible for any or all damage to clothing, EcoLiving’s cleaning machines, or any other damages caused by any items present in the laundry bags. Customer agrees not to leave such items in its clothing or in the delivery bags.

Pickup & Delivery Procedures & Terms

In the event that a Customer misses a pick up or delivery, there will be a “No Show” (No Cancellation) fee. If the Customer needs to cancel or reschedule their pick up or delivery days or times, the Customer must notify EcoLiving Cleaners of such changes no later than 2 hours prior to their scheduled pick up and/or delivery day and time. EcoLiving Cleaners is not responsible for and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended for pick up or delivery, whether left by Customer or EcoLiving Cleaners. Customer agrees to have laundry bags ready and accessible for pick up at the main floor level of the building prior to his or her pick up arrival time. If access is granted or provided by the Customer to his or her property for pick up and/or delivery of clothing and other items designated for pick up or delivery, the Customer hereby waives any and all claims against EcoLiving Cleaners and its officials, agents, and employees for damage to or loss of use of property which arise as a result of Customer allowing access to his or her property for the purpose of picking up or delivering clothing and other designated items.

Payment Terms

Customer acknowledges that payment must be tendered to EcoLiving 1 hour prior to the beginning of the delivery time window of his, her or their laundry. Customer agrees to make payment to EcoLiving Cleaners using the payment methods provided in the invoices unless another payment method is otherwise designated and agreed upon by EcoLiving Cleaners.


These terms and conditions as set forth above and any documents referred to herein constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agreement between EcoLiving Cleaners, the Customer and any other related parties to this agreement, may not be modified except in writing signed by all parties, and shall be governed by the state(s) in which EcoLiving Cleaners operates.
